Individual Certification Programs are designed to promote self-regulation, health and safety, improved inspection capabilities, and improved management control and environmental performance.
Certifications are not required for completion of the Network Engineer, Network Support Specialist, Medical Assistant or Medical Administrative Assistant programs, but students are highly encouraged to obtain individual certification to assist in making them a more valuable candidate for employment. CyberTex Institute of Technology (CIT) provides vouchers allowing students to take certification exams at a greatly reduced cost.
A student graduating from the:
- Network Engineer program may be eligible to become certified in A+, Security+, MCSA, MCSE, Linux+, Network+, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2012.
- Network Support Specialist program may wish to become certified in A+, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2012.
- Medical Assistant (MA) program may be eligible to become a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Phlebotomy Technicians, and EKG Technicians. Students obtain their CPR Certification during the program.
- Medical Administrative Assistant program may wish to become a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant and/or a Certified Billing and Coding specialist, Students obtain their CPR Certification during the program.
